Re: Friendship
I find friendship to be very important to me. I get hurt very easily and I don't understand why people want to hurt others. It doesn't make sense to me.
I value the friendship, opinions, feelings, and rights of others and I always treat others the way I'd like to be treated myself. But it's become obvious to me that there are many (way too many) people out there who see people like me as easy targets and take advantage of my good nature.
I'd like to think I'm wiser now and won't let anybody hurt me in any way again. But only time will tell. I'm not settling for anything less than what I deserve now. So if anyone treats me wrongly; they'll find themselves thrown out of my life. Haha!!
Please feel free to talk here about your feelings. We're a friendly bunch. ^_^
I don't think you should want to be like others though. Just be yourself. Always.

Re: Friendship
Being like others is overrated. That being said, I do feel the same way on this subject as Kitai.
If people do not like you for who you are, then they are not worthy of your friendship. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Re: Friendship
Friendship is really important but you should always be your self. After all, even if you have all the friends in the world, if you are not being your self then they are not your real friends as they are not liking you for who you really are.

friends...
Do you have a lot of friends?
Do you prefer off line or online friendships?
Have you met anyone offline who you met online?
I've always found it easier to make friend online because I dont have much trust when it comes to real ppl if you like...
I've made a few really good friends online which makes up for all the fake 2 faced ones.

Re: Friendship
I have more friends than I can count. I would prefer more offline friends, but really it doesn't matter. I've only met one person that I've met online... actually... three, but it was all in the same fun-filled, pizza-fueled weekend.
