New Recruits

I've moved this topic because I think it's about more than just getting some new RPers really. I dunno if this really fits in with the "Information" section either, but I haven't got a better place for it, to be honest as I haven't made a "Staff" section or anything as I don't need it right now (being the only member of staff 'n' all).

But yeah, anyways. I'm always passing the URL around, and having it as a clickable link and/or clickable signature everywhere else I go (Live Journal, Deviant Art, other forums, etc). I've also put it up on various "Top Site" lists (as you already know), and submitted it to various search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc).

I'd like to start affliating with other forums as well.

Face book is a good way to advertise, Get the group to invite all their friends there and that way the word get spread to hundreds in an easy step.

Also talk to some other sites and see if you can exchange links, I know someone used to do it on the older site. I'm sure if u spoke to him he would be able to help out.

Maybe do some competitions etc and get the name out a bit more? I've seen your link of Face Book tonight and its got me here

Thankies, but I've already started groups on places Facebook, MySpace, etc. And I've been looking into Affiliating, but not having much luck with that coz some people are scared their members'll leave to another site they advertise and not come back to their own. XD

I've also sent email invites to people, but I've noticed that gets nowhere coz people don't bother checking invite mails. So for now it seems that word-of-mouth is the best way to go.

Recruiting Update:

I'm still recruiting for the forum itself, but I'm also now looking for help with the forum's various different groups on places like Live Journal, Facebook, My Space, Twitter, etc.

Okay guys, I really need your help now.

I'm perfectly happy with the members we have (you're awesome - you know that), but, as they say, the more the merrier!! =D

It'd be great to get some more RPers in especially, as it'd be fun to have more people to play with, and more people means more ideas, which means more RPs. Hehe!!

So if you haven't already spread the word of Nexus Beach to people you know; pleeeeease do so. It would really help us all out. And if you think some people you've already told need reminding, again, pleeeeease do so.
