Aliens Vs Predator

I got it on Saturday. I completed it with marine, alien and predator already! Couldn't stop playing it to be honest! Great game! Best one to play as for me is the alien. SO much fun!

Funnily enough, I got it Saturday, as well. I completed it with all three within a couple of days. It would seem that playing as Six is popular, lol. Such a shame that... actually, sod that, I can't be arsed with spoiler tags.

Amazing game!! I love it!!

The only problem I'm having is the head movements. I don't usually play first person shooters because of this, so it's something I'll have to get used to.

But when I tell a character to move left, I expect them to autmatically look left as well. But they don't. And I'm fighting a battle with the control system regarding that. And I seem to be losing as half the time I can't see a damn thing when I'm trying to kill something. XD

I really do hate that control system. But meh... I guess it's something I'll pick up.

Other than that, it's awesome!! I love the look, the feel, the sound, everything.

And, as much as I love running around killing humans as Six (coz xenos rule), I do love the feeling you get when you're a marine. It really feels like you're in the movie and if you play it in the dark, it's especially cool. It's such an aderaline rush!!

Let me guess, you use the left thumbstick to try and turn, lol. The default setting for the controls has the left thumbstick controlling lateral movement, whereas the right thumbstick controls the orientation.

I don't like there being two control just to turn around!! Lol!!

Yeah, but what I mean is, if I move left, I expect his head to turn left!! XD

I'm just not used to the standard first-person controls.

Also, it would be nice for a third person view. Not just coz of the controls, but because it'd be so awesome to see yourself running around ripping people apart!! XD

Watching other people on the online gaming, I love the way the characters move. And it'd be awesome to see that of your own character as you were playing.

In most FPS you can change the controls to do just that, though you will still have to use both thumbsticks, else you'll be firing at one level all the time and unable to strafe.

Third person would be so cool, especially when I get the urge to make Six chase his/her/it's tail, lol.

My brother just looked at me and said "you're a xenomorph... razor sharp claws, acid for blood, skull-puncturing second mouth... and the first thing you do is chase your tail!?". XP

Ha ha! I chased the tail too when I first played as Six. It's good fun!

It's just one of those things that have to be done XD

I think the NPCs should've reacted in some way to Six chasing his tail, lol.
