Keitaro looked over the scene before him. Many more riders were joining the gathering. He was shocked at the sheer number of riders in the city. He saw people descending from roof tops over the far side. Keitaro laughed to himself as a shock of yellow zig-zagged towards the ground, reminding him so much of lightening. He saw others just drop as if they were free falling, when really he knew they were wall riding their way down.

Nearer the middle, he saw a small group of people disperse and form a line. It was about to start. Ahead of them, the crowds seemed to part like The Red Sea did for Moses. He stood up on the edge of the building to get a better look. Four riders stood ready; their ATs kicking up small clouds of dust as they came to life. The crowd burst to life as the four riders sped away from the starting line. The UPWs first even of the night was begun.

Keitaro hopped over the edge and landed on a small ledge just a few metres down. He spied a vertical drainage pipe close by, which he promptly mounted for his descent to the crowds.

As the battle begins, the gathered crowd liven-up and those that intend to follow the entire match, are keeping an extra close eye on the particiating Riders, and are preparing to move themselves as the competing Riders waste no time is leaving the starting area and heading off to jump and climb their hurdles... which in the case, start off with simple ramps and skips by the side of the roads, but make progress into fences, vechicles, or even buildings.

If the crowd want to watch all the way from start to finish, they'll have to find ways of following the action.

Keitaro looked at the dense crowd of people. Having only been to a few UPWs and not taken part, he wanted to take part. He had no idea how to get an event set up. He was determined to get involved, so he decided he would get to the front of the crowd and see if he could find someone to set something up. He took a deep breath and exhaled before he tried to force his way through the crowd. He was making progress better than expected, but the going was still slow. Occasionally, he would stop after someone accidentally caught him in the ribs.

Within a few minutes that seemed to go on forever, Keitaro finally made it to the front and looked around. He looked down the street in the direction the riders of the last event took off, and could see other riders giving chase to watch the event in it's entirety. He looked around, and still he could not find anyone. He would not give up his search until an event was set up, with him in it, everyone dispersed or if they were subject to a raid. He hoped a raid wouldn't happen, in the last one, he was almost caught.

The Fox raced against his opponents. The E-Class team of Storm Riders behind him shouted,
"We are The Phantom Breakers! Fox, you little f*ck, we're gonna f*ck you up!!!".
Fox turned towards them, while riding backwards and addressed them, "You're welcome to try...survive my 'road' and you'll survive the perils of others. This is your just punishment for using ATs to conquer others. Prepare to offer your blood...AND BEG FOR MERCY!!!".
The Fox then raced ahead, and so began the challenge of E-Class - The Hurdle...

A grin comes to the face of the figure in yellow and the event begins and they too give chase, wanting to keep up with all the action. But their desire to stay out of sight means hiding amoungst the bigger crowds, and that proves problematic when people start getting in their way in one way or another.

Having people block your view, or nudge into you, and having to dodge riders who fall over infront of you, doesn't help when you're trying to keep up with the battling Riders and not miss anything.

Keitaro looked around for some sort of official to set up another event. Pretty soon, a lot of the riders had set off in pursuit of the rest, while others dispersed in other directions. With the crowds growing steadily thinner, He thought he would have a better chance of seeing someone to set up events, but the effort seemed to be futile. Maybe he would have more luck at the finishing line.

Keitaro looked on after the riders of the previous event; with the amount of riders heading in that direction, he was sure to build some speed in the wakes of the others. As unlikely as it might be, Keitaro though that it might be possible for him to catch up with the main bulk of the riders. His ATs kicked into action, trying to gain purchase of the ground. He lowered himself ready for his run moments before his wheels found their biting point, instantly gripping the road and speeding him of after the rest.

Okusa rode ahead with the rest. He wanted to make sure his modifications on The Fox were working efficiently, he didn't want a reputation of being a hack. It was then he saw the newbie again...and noticed his run was rough but...interested Okusa for some reason. The newbie was slow but then finally found his speed and was catching up with bulk.
"Hmm...the race can wait.", he said to himself, "I think its time I look into some new...potential..."
He kept his speed and kept hidden from the newbie...

...meanwhile, The Fox was ahead, yet he stopped at the first hurdle. A 5 storey building. The 3 Phantom Breakers were gaining up speed to The Fox, with murder in their eyes...yet they passed The Fox and began to wall ride the building. It was then The Fox grinded backwards, his stance from stationary to reactionary. At an instant of his wall ride, he raced into the middle of the triptych of riders, and unleashed his bloody attack.
"360 Carving Curve! Raging Fox Special!" he cried into the night. And in seconds, he carved his "road" on the riders. A permanent mark of their imminent defeat...and so The Fox dashed off to complete his hurdles, finish the race, and once again defeat another AT group...much to the dismay of the crowds...

Though they tried to hang-back and stay in the shadows, the crowds were proving much too annoying to the Rider in yellow, and as the competing Riders reach their first big hurdle, the figure speeds up and starts to distance themselves from the rest of the watchers, detemind to keep-up and not miss any of the action.

But they come to a skidding stop as the The Fox begins his attack, and all they can is watch as he carves his Road into his opponants. An obvious move formed of The Bloody Road, or, as it's more commonly known, The Fang. And it was too high powered a move for this group of Riders. From the second the attack landed, it the Battle was over and it's victor decided.

As The Fox speeds off to complete his race, the majority of the spectators grumble in unison at such a short-lived match. But the figure in yellow leaves the crowds, following The Fox from a distance.

Keitaro moved out from behind a rider and sped of ahead using a slingshot manoeuvre. He repeated the process of getting into the wake of a rider and slingshotting ahead several times in quick succession, getting a slight increase in speed each time. His eyes were watering from the wind. He brought his scarf up further over his nose, so it rest just under his eyes. This afforded him a little more protection for his eyes, enough to allow him to see properly, at least.

Ahead, the crowd seemed to have stopped moving. Keitaro quickly changed his heading so he was angled towards the edge, close to the buildings. He drew closer to the crowds. Before getting too close, he lept into the air towards a building. He aimed his feet towards the side of it. His ATs caught the vertical wall and sped him along it's length. The thickness of the crowd wasn't all that great considering the amount of people at the meeting, but that was understandable. Ahead of the crowds, Keitaro could see why they stopped. On the ground at the base of the first hurdle lay the broken forms of three of the riders, meaning this event was already over. The only place left to go was the finish. No matter what, Keitaro was determined to get his event tonight

The Fox finally reached the finish line, ahead of everyone else...he left his Foxtail Emblem at Finish Line pole and then saw a yellow figure heading towards him...
"Akiko Yanjimara...I have to admit I feel slightly honoured by your company...for what do I owe this pleasure?" he asked the yellow figure.
"Again slightly annoyed you made the match finish early" replied Akiko, "But as I can see, you faced a bit of damage..."
The Fox was bleeding from his feet, "Though the Fang Road is derived from the Bloody Road, of which Roads are carved unto my enemies...a road is also carved on me...I tend to think of it as karma...but I don't mind."
The Fox began to ride off, "Some teams are using Underground Parts Wars as an excuse to bully and pulverise other teams...The Phantom Breakers are no different. They are mugs for the mafia and have been annilating other teams for their selfish gain...I will not see innocent victims be abused by those who look down on them, and use their blood and corpses as bridges to new triumpths...til we meet again, Dolphin..."
And so he rode off...

It was then Okusa appeared from the shadows, "It seems my add-ons have improved his speed ten-fold" he said to Akiko, "Are you sure you don't want me to tune up your ATs, I would happily do it for free for you, Miss Yanjimara."

After dismounting the wall ahead of the stationary riders. He approached the fallen riders. He made a quick assessment as he sped by, he could not see their condition too well but the blood around them wasn't a good sign. He didn't want to imagine what went on, nor the rider responsible. He headed for an alley at the side of the first hurdle. The alley was wider than most. He smile to himself and decided to have a bit of fun. He Rode up one wall before pushing off, and up, towards the other wall. This allowed him to climb higher than before. He repeated the process several times, until he was at the top of the lower 3-story building. From here it was pretty much a straight run to the finish, provided he stayed topside.

After a invigourating run across the rooftops, Keitaro could see the finish. He expected to see the winning rider, but he was nowhere in sight. Instead, he was shocked to see two familiar riders. The first was unmissable; the rider in yellow. He laughed inwardly as he remembered thinking that the rider looked like a bolt of lightnening when they descended from the rooftop across from him at the start. The second rider was one that Keitaro had a very close encounter with. That is to say tehy almost collided. Keitaro stopped himself dead and wondered where everyone else was. There was only a few riders following him, but they were some distance behind. He got himself closer to the other two and sat himself down on the edge of a building. The two riders had not noticed him yet, but that would soon change when the others began catching up

Akiko usually makes a point of sticking to the shadows at night, but she had always been drawn towards The Fang Road, and she'd seen The Fox ride many times before, and his battles almost always ended way too quickly. And though his reasoning seemed sound to her, she still couldn't help but feel robbed of her entertainment. Akiko bores easily as it is, but Battles that end too quickly are more than boring. There's just no fun in it. Though at the same time, Battles that drag out too long are equally as boring.

As The Fox rides off, Okusa appears from the shadows himself.

"It seems my add-ons have improved his speed ten-fold" He comments. "Are you sure you don't want me to tune up your ATs, I would happily do it for free for you, Miss Yanjimara."

Akiko being Akiko, only relies on herself, and acts as her own Tuner. So it was an offer she had to refuse. She's determind to be all that she can be due to her own skill and determination.

"Sorry, Okusa." She replies, shaking her head. "But I can take care of myself."

Okusa's ears twitched, "Then perhaps our audience member from the sky would consider a tune-up?"
He noticed the newbie was here, he was counting on that. The thing with Riders with potential...they always get themselves into trouble.
Akiko looked confused, until Okusa pointed his finger to the newbie...

Keitaro sat and watched the approaching riders. They were still some distance away, but approaching fast. He turned back round to see the two familiar riders looking up at him. The one he almost collided with was pointing at him. He looked behind him to see if anyone was standing there, but there was no one. He turned back round and pointed to himself. The one that was pointing nodded. Keitaro sighed as he swung himself into a position to wall ride his way to the ground. Upon reaching the ground he quickly made his way over to the two riders.

Okusa looked at the newbie, and then finally said, "I have to say...I was more impressed with your run than your wall ride. I'm a little disappointed."
He looked to his colleague, "So, Miss Yanjimara. What do you make of this little bird out of the nest?".
