Maybe. Chances are he might already know. Eep!!

But, as people have been telling me, he might not take it seriously coz we've all been having a laugh about it. So I guess I really need to just tell him myself and hope for the best.

And I've had no reply yet... which I guess speaks for itself. So... yeah, I'm trying not to worry about it and think positive, but I'm kinda expecting a negative reply... or for him to start avoiding me. =/

Thing is, I felt really good about it, until I did it. Then the dread set-in because I really don't wanna cause him any hassle or bugger up a friendship. =(

As for Soul Eater, it's a bit difficult to do anything considering it's just us at the moment >_<

Just because you've not had a reply, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Perhaps he just needs to sort his own feelings out before he makes a decision. It might be an idea if you let him know that you value your friendship with him above all else and wouldn't want to jeapordise it over this.
